Drawn steel wire with high or medium Carbon content
Chemical composition of steel: in accordance with EN 10016-2-1994
Roping wires are manufactured in the following ranges:
- 0.20 ÷ 1.15 mm - zinc coated wires according to DIN 2078-1990 and EN 10244-2-2001
- 0.30 ÷ 3.20 mm - phosphated / bright wires
TECHNICAL CONDITIONS
In accordance with DIN 2078-1990, EN 10264-2-2002 and with the customer's requirements
CLASSIFICATION
In terms of purpose of application, roping wires are manufactured in two classes of quality:
- B - traction and material transporting ropes
- C - anchorage and mooring ropes
Note: Wires are manufactured in two classes of tolerance term of wire surface.
PACKING. DELIVERY
Steel roping wire is delivered in coils, on BS40/ BS60 spools, or Z2 reelless coils.
Other conditions are settled in accordance with customer's requirements.
